Should I Buy new intake?

I have the opportunity, through craigslist, to buy an offenhauser intake for $100 or a clifford intake for $150. I'm running a 4.2l 258, nuttered and team rush'd. MC2150 carb. I want my engine to run as reliably and as well as possible(will be my DD) and am wondering how much these intakes make a difference. Do you think either of them are worth it? Have you upgraded to either one? Did you notice a difference? thanks in advance.

P.S. I dont know if it matters, but i still need to get a pre smog dizzy and get the advance dialed in. The engine runs fine as is, but I'm sure it could do better. I would've done it by now, but I'm not very mechanically savvy, and Dad thinks I need some help from somebody who knows more about it, although from what people have said it's pretty easy. If anybody is near me and willing to come help me out that'd be great.

I have the offenhauser single plane with a 470 cfm holley. this setup is much better than the weber 32-36 I was running. I get about 16 mpg in town and the motor revs smoothly to 4500 rpm's.
if you plan on running the motorcraft carb you will need an adapter plate for the 2 bbl. also, offenhauser makes 2 manifolds, a single plane and a duel plane, the duel plane has 2 different passages for the primaries and secondaries of a 4 bbl and probably wouldn't work with a 2bbl.
