shocks ???

i recently lifted my 95 wrangler with a 4'' inch lift. when i put the shocks on that came with the kit they were very close to being all the way extended. does this mean that there will be no travel for articulation and the shocks will hold my wheels up?

what brand of lift did you get and were you installing the shocks with the weight of the jeep on its tires or no?

i got the rough country 4'' inch lift with n2.0 shocks and i installed the shocks when my jeep was on my lift. but when i put my jeep on the ground, it did not drop very much. i see that you have a yj to and do you run your sway bars and track bars because im thinking about taking mine out.

those shocks are correct, i actually just bought a set of em lol, i took out my rear trackbar, and the front swaybars. i had the front trackbar out for a little while and didn't like the way it drove, it had too much back and forth motion when i turned. im thinking about putting a rear trackbar back in though because with the v8 there's probably gonna be some sideways stuff happening

but for a moderate build, take the rear trackbar out and either remove the swaybars or make quick disconnects

they shouldn't, the shocks are designed to be the correct length to give you full droop of your suspension without damaging anything. id say flex it up on a rock or something and see how it does, if it looks like its being limited too much call or email RC and see what you can do about it

Jack up the Jeep and support it from the frame on jackstands. Unbolt the shocks while in the air. If the suspension droops after unbolting the shocks then you need longer shocks.
