shock lengths

I have 2.5 OME springs, 5/8 lift shackles, extended front shock hoops up front, and a shock bar in the rear.

I went and took some measures from upper shock mount point to lower shock mount point and from bump stop to frame on a flat surface and ended up with these measurements.

Level Ground
Front
Shock upper to shock lower 25"
bump stop to spring 5"
Rear
Shock upper to shock lower 20.5"
bump stop to spring 5"

i then flexed my front suspension until the rear tire came off the ground ever so slightly.

Front Compressed (bump stops in contact w/frame)
Shock upper to shock lower 19.5"
Front Extended
Shock upper to shock lower 28.5"

Rear Compressed (bump stops in contact w/frame)
shock upper to shock lower 16.5"
Rear Extended
shock upper to shock lower 21"

i was told it is ideal to "add/subtract 1/2-1" from the measurements so the shocks arent the limiting factor in extensions and aren't acting as the bump stop.

so...

front
extended 28.5 + 1/2 29"
compressed 19.5 -1/2 19"

rear
extended 21 + 1/2 21.5"
compressed 16.5 - 1/2 16"

does all this sound correct?
I need a front shock with extended length of 29" and collapsed length of 19" that has a ride height somewhere around 25"

I need a rear shock with extended length of 21.5" and collapsed length of 16" with a ride height of around 20.5"

I am interested in the "smooth body shocks" made by Fox for BDS. I believe they're called Fox 2.0 performance shocks. I need "loop ends on both ends"

front
98224660 (30/17.3)
rear
98224920 (25.95/15.42)

What yall think?

With my OME 2.5" lift I went with Rancho RS5000's here: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-sh...rangler-yj.htm about half way down the page. I like 'em a lot. Haven't had a problem with them reaching their limits.
