Shift Kits for YJ yes or no

Shift Kit for 92 automatic YJ

How do you feel about them? Im looking to help my tranny out by installing a shift kit. The kit im looking at on Jegs.com has three different settings (daily drivers settings, more performance, and off road use only that allows for downshifting without harming the Tranny. Just share your personal does n donts or ne pointers if there are any.

Thanks

If/when I rebuild mine I'll add some beef to it. I'd either add a kit or find a 4.0 and aw4 from a Cherokee. 4th gear would be nice.

I really like my B&M Z Gate especially out on the trail. It goes into neutral real quick and didn't cost a fortune.
