Ok I am going to make a new set of shackles for my JEEP but I am wondering how long I should make them I have read that a little longer then stock will allow a little more flex of the spring. I figure the more flex is do to the mechanical leverage of a longer shackle. But what do you guys think is the sweet spot I am not looking for any more lift then necessary. I have noticed a lot of forum members run 5/8" lift boomers.Any thoughts.

I think to keep issues to a minimum, 5/8 is the way to go and still get the benefits of a boomerang.
