Shackle Reversal, Bolt on or Weld on?? What is best kit out there?

Want to add shackle reversale to my YJ, Looked at all kinds of kits! I am not the best at welding, only tried once! I would like to be able to use normal shackle, so if i wanted to add another inch or so lift i can do it in shackles. Any suggestions??

You REALLY should do some more research on reversals and their pros-cons. Then determine if it is something you "really" want.
I'm not being an "internet tough guy" or anything here, that's just not me, but from reading your post I get the impression that:
1.) You think you are going to gain lift from the reversal
2.) You think you can safely get more than an inch of lift from shackles alone.
3.) You plan on combining a shackle reversal AND longer shackles to gain desired lift.

You really need to look at all of this, as a decent lift kit will probable be less expensive and a whole world safer. Plus much easier to do. I've known of people needing new front driveshafts due to their reversals.

[EDIT]
From your profile you already have a 4" lift. (?) Sorry, I missed that when I first responded.
So are you intending on coupling your 4" lift, plus a reversal, AND longer shackles?
If you want that much lift maybe you should look into SOA for your Jeep.

i agree with brandon. the shackle reversal is kind of sketchy and if you wanted an extra 1 or 2 inches just go straight to a 6" lift or the spring over axle. it might cost a lil more in the long run but its safer and less worries of having things go wrong. if your still set up on the SR kit have you checked out the full traction kits?

I am going to do the shackle reversal this weekend because my springs have bent twice now: moving my axle back, smashing my shocks, and shoving my shackle up against the frame. I will have some pics and hopefully some insight on this project after this weekend, i am not trying to get more lift just keep my springs from bending when i am approaching something that is as tall as my tires and straight up and down

Not trying to gain any lift here, trying to smooth out my ride! I do have the 4" in now, removed trac bars and sway bars, big difference! Just want to see if anyone has done and which would be the best kit to install! I read that warrior products will give another inch of lift, none of the others stated this that i have read! Lift is easy to gain any many different forms, just want the smoothest ride you can get from a lifted YJ. I have back problems and the constant banging around gets real smart at times!

I had a M.O.R.E. weld on SRS Kit that I decided not to use. I was trying to sell on here for over a year and let it go to a local club member for $50 .

The kit I had did not lift the front like other companys kits

i'm not installing a kit i'm just cutting and welding it myself with some metal on hand incase of mods, also some say you will need a longer front drive shaft so i will see what happens
