setting pinion depth on a dana 30 and 35 and nut size question

Do they have shims and washers or is there a crushsleeve?
Also what size not hold the pinion and yoke together?

Shims. I just took mine apart. It's a D30 high pinion. The nut is 1 and 1/8th inch.
