Seatbelt Anchor Points

Had a friend who knows jeeps take a look at mine.

Told me before I go about doing any cosmetic changes, I should fix the seatbelt anchor points. Seems that the floor has rusted away where the bolt mounts into the floor.

Dangerous.

Going to have the mechanic weld quarter inch steel plate under the floor to support the bolt.

For you fellow newbies. Pull up the carpet and check this area and make sure it is solid.

Guess I preaching the obvious.

Wish I would have know to look before I bought.

Brought it back to the guy who did the certification and he fixed it for free.

Now I am back in the game!!!!
