Seat Removal?

My jeep isn't here right now, so I can't take a look...

So, what's involved in removing the rear seat from my 1990 YJ? Tools, procedure, etc?

What about the front Passenger seat?

Thanks...

IIRC, there are 4 bolts holding in the rear seat and 4 more in the front seat.

It is pretty simple to remove. I just gutted my Jeep out completely, but it wasn't so simple. I have lot of rusty bolts from a previous owner who didn't love this Jeep. If you are in the same boat as I was, I suggest that you soak the bolts in PB Blaster the day before you want to work on removing them. I did this and it helped out tremendiously!

If you need any other help, just PM me.

An air ratchet will save a lot of time and banged up knuckles.

I can just slide my rear seat to the right side of the hinges and pull it right out. Of course, unless you are removing the hinges too, that should be all you need to do.

Ive found that on mine it is easier to just pull the brackets too, there isn't enugh room for it to fully slide to the side to get it out that way.
