If they won't come out with PB, heat, BFH and/or a combination of all of the above, you may be able to drill them out and re-tap a new hole for your replacement hardware when you put the new ones in.
Try PB Blaster first. Soak 'em once or twice a day thoroughly for a week, and try it again later.

If you do not have the ability to tap the holes, then just go ahead and drill all the way thru. You can slide a new bolt down the hole and add a nut to the other side. Don't drill the entire lenght of the bolt, use one size bigger so that when you reach the bottom of the threads on the nut the rest will just fall off. Saves you some time and the bit life.

so drill a hole like three quarters of the way through the stuck nut with a one size bigger drill bit? then use the same size oem nut and it will push through?
what kind of bit do you use for this? how long do the last |

Whatever you do...don't go down to local hardware store and just buy some bolts and stick the sucker back together. AT LEAST get grade 5 bolts. Last thing you want to do is put isshy hardware onto one of the most critical restrait systems in your vechile.

Just use a regular drill bit.
What he meant by using a larger drill bit is like in the picture A shows the drill bit bigger than the bolt you only have to drill through to the bottom of the nut and the remaining bolt will just fall off. If drilled with a smaller drill bit like in B you have to drill further down to get through the entire bolt. Then just get a bolt nuts washers and lock washers for putting the seats back in after you line the tub. Ensure you use a higher grade bolt and lock washers. Don't want the bolt to break or come undone when you really want the seat to stay in place.

Great visual Grape. That is exactly what I ment. Definatly go with good hardware. Tractor supply is the cheapest I have found for grade 5 and 8 bolts. Spend the extra 5 cents and get grade 8 stuff.
