Scratching head, carb problems

Just got my jeep in and got her running Ok. But the carb needs help. It has an empi 38 carb and it almost seems like choke and idle are backwards. Idles very low until it warms up the en lowers. Idle is around 1300. I'm a carb noob. Point me in the right direction.

You need to get the tuning manual from the manufacturer and follow it. Should be a download at their site.

418 miles on 19 gallons of gas. Can't beat the BBD !
