You going to carpet or bedline the floor?

I'm definitely doing Bedliner. I'm 99% sure my carpet is what caused the rust in the first place

I would agree. Putting carpet in a Jeep is like putting carpet in a bathroom.

Took a trip to carquest yesterday and picked up a gallon kit of herculiner black.

I was originally going to do Monstaliner tintable in the sand color to match my dash/Rollbar/seat color but then realized all my floor mats were black. I figured the jeep is black so it should look ok still, plus the sand color would have shown dirt like crazy

Small victory.. Got the broken Rollbar bolt out

image-2302610325.jpg
This happened during Rollbar removal

image-2579964098.jpg
Used drill bit ascending in size to not mess up the threads.. Wasn't the best but got the job done

Prepping for Bedliner is next but will most likely be put on the back burner for a vacation

Also started prepping my 91 rollbar to get put in. Picked it up for 30 bucks to work with my tan Rollbar pads

When I swapped out my rollbar the foot looked the same way. Think about it. In a rollover do you want some rotted sheet metal to be all that is holding the rollbar to the Jeep? Do yourself a favor and do what I did. Get some heavy gauge sheet metal and rebuild the rollbar foot.

I did exactly that, just had no pictures of it. That's why I got that naval jelly to dissolve all the rust before I got to patching it. There was no way I was dropping that straight into my jeep without strengthening it back up

Here's a closer look at the texture when it dried. I think it turned out great

Spent the night cleaning up my seat risers. They looked like this before

image-1803983591.jpg

I used a flap disc on a angle grinder to get all the rust off. Rust converter, rusty metal primer, and rust tough enameled both the passenger and driver seat risers. No pics of the finished product since I was trying to beat the sunset.

image-2258226634.jpg

By the end of the night I had both front seats bolted in, Rollbar set in place, and rear seat brackets/rear seatbelts in

I have to make a hardware trip for the Rollbar, trans plate, and trans boot

Not an exciting post but ran to lowes for new hardware and bolted the Rollbar down and installed the rear seat

Prepped my seatbelt brackets for install last night. They were very well rusted so I wire brushed and rust converted then painted. Sorry no before pictures

image-448280785.jpg

Also ordered some screws for the transmission plate. Lowes didn't have sheetmetal screws big enough

image-1949038277.jpg

If anyone's interested the trans access plate is obviously a 5/16 (#16) x 3/4" sheetmetal screw and the shifter boot is a 1/4" (#14) x 1.25" sheet metal screw. 7 are used for each
