Because a well built yj will outflex and outwheel a tj for like a third of the price.

For the 20 Grand that a decent TJ will set you back. Think of the possibilities. Thats why I stick with the YJ

I Bet this Poser has a Stripped down, bone stock TJ with a 4 banger and no AC..

TJ's are wimpy little yuppie toys built for the masses who want comfort and convenience. Buy a Volvo if you don't want to hit the trails and get dirty!

That's funny. The six guys, who were in TJ's, that had just gotten stuck on the side of the road, sure didn't think my inferior YJ was suck*** when I pulled them out and then crawled right through their tracks when I left. I'm outside of Atlanta and many teens have jeeps with no clue what they're about or how to use them. They see a pile of dirt or mud and think "let's go wheelin". Then they get stuck. Then they get REAL stuck.
One kid said "I can't believe I'm getting pulled out by something with square headlights" as he laughed with his friends. Guess what....he didn't. See ya.

TJ's are the pathetic little brothers who try and try to be like his BIG brother YJ. Even though he's newer and pretty, TJ will never amount to height and ability of his bigger brother. So sad... I hear a sad country song coming to me. *

Why are YJ's so good? Simple reason. I will have a 4.0/AX15/D300 locked D44/D60 SOA 38's with a wheelbase of about 101" all for the price of about $6000 which includes the Jeep. Plus the pride of knowing I built it with my own two hands.
