weld a wrap on it or cut out the rusted section and graft in some new steel. i would check all the low spots in your frame (hit it with a hammer) and see if this is the only rusted section, better to find out while parked then over a bump on the highway anything is fixable, click the link in my signature and take a look at what my frame was like!

Yeah tap around it with a hammer. Mine looked like that but once I tapped around I found more. I cut mine out with a plasma cutter and welded in heavier metal. It isn't the prettiest but it works.

He has good quality material and welds, but after installing and measuring, hammering, clamping, I realized that Daveygeeps put the shackle bushing hole 7/16" lower than it should have been. Cannot really notice in the jeep anyway.

Rusty frame. Just had my junk fixed two weeks ago!!

I have modified rear shock mounts in the rear of my Jeep, and the drivers side was rusted thru at the frame, which took out my upper shock mount, and had about a 4" crack on my passenger side frame underneath in the back, and was loosing metal on the drivers side in the same area.

I took it to an Off Road Shop that has done this repair many times. They did a kick *** job on the repairs. The rest of my Jeep will fall apart, before these welds will.

Just try to find a good shop to do the repair, and you should be good to go, unless your frame is beyond repair.
