Rubicon Express Leaf springs

I have rough country 4" leaf springs and when they where new they looked good, about 900 miles later, they are sagging the opposite way.. It doesnt even look close to what it use to. I am looking into rubicon express 4.5" extreme duty leaf springs, I was on their website and I was wondering if its really worth the $150 a leaf spring? ($600 on leaf springs seems a bit high ?)

thanks in advance

I was very pleased with the RE 4.5" springs I had on my XJ and the ones on my YJ are feeling pretty good as well.

Is it worth $150 a spring? Well, in hindsight were the RCs worth $50? Probably not. It's all relative. If you don't need flex and don't mind rattling fillings then the RE springs will not be worth it to you.

I was in that boat. I decided to just order the whole RE 4" lift kit. I replaced the crappy RC springs and shocks, then sold the rest of the stuff that came with the RE lift that I didn't need

You could also look into BDS springs. They are very comparable and less expensive. Go here http://www.bds-suspension.com/php/Order_by_pn.php and enter part # 004351. $93.50 a piece.

The bds 3.5 springs will give ya a realistic 4.5-5" lift. Just swapped mine from procrap, they're about 1" taller than the 4" procomps i had. Much smoother ride, and you can get them dirt cheap if you've got a local distributor. Bushings are a few bucks extra though

Agreed, my brother put them on his and he easily clears 33's with no body lift or extended shackles.

i wouldn't mind selling them, but let it be known, i bent the p/s rear spring main leaf sideways when one of my centering pins let go. it still does just fine, it's just offset about 1/2 inch.
