i just installed the RE 4.5 ext duty lift kit about 2 months ago. i love it!!!!! re offers the highest quality and most complete kits that i've seen.....they are a little pricey..but worth it in my opinion. before i bought my kit..i called up the people at re...they said that the main difference between the standard and extreme duty kits was the springs. they ext. duty kits have different characteristics...one of the biggest being that they are tapered....this gives you much more articulation. also i believe they will stand up better over time...especially if you start running heavier bumbers, a winch, rack.....my advice would be to save up and go for the ext. duty. this is your baby you're talking about...give her the best! in all seriousness...i was told the same thing...and i'm glad i did it. good luck! oh....i don't know where you're shopping...but check out crawltech.com they beat any competitors' prices...plus free shipping and free dt3000 shocks.
