Round Tail light Guys-HELP

Hey guys-
I just got done wiring up 2 round tail lights and a white light for back up. But, Im having problems with the back up light. Somehow, the reverse light wires are tied into the guages and since I had it wired wrong, it was blowing the cluster fuse everytime I put the Jeep in reverse. Could someone tell me how they wired their single reverse light up/how they grounded it?? Thanks

Does your new white light simply have two wires out of it? If so, one may be internally connected to the case so that it can be grounded either through the mount or through the ground wire. You probably have your hot wire from the backup switch connected to this ground wire, which is shorting through the case to ground. If so, just swap the two leads coming out of your new white light. If it is set up some other way, forget everything I just said.
