The main reason I put one in, is when I was at 8000', trying to climb rocks very slowly, at around 500 RPM, it would overheat. Not a problem anymore. I had no other problems with the clutch fan.

If you get miles on the jeep the hotter spark helps get better ignition and a more complete burn across a wider range of fuel/air mix. Plus it simplifies the ignition system. Power to the distributor and plug wires out. Much cleaner with way less to go wrong.
