Bent springs are common, just not that big of a bend.

I seem to have broken the aluminum pinion wedge on one of my rear springs. Is there any way i can get a new one?
Other than that, my 2.5" lift has performed flawlessly. I think all of these OME owners talking trash are just trying to justify spending all that extra money on a similar product.

I honestly think the guys who are running OME springs and talking trash have made the swap themselves. The same goes for BDS. I have read quite a few writeups on swaps and every one has been 100% sure they would have gone with a different manufacturer if they had to do it all over again. Wait, what am I saying? They did have to do it all over again!

If you're happy with your springs, awesome! It's the experiences that we have that give us the leverage in these types of discussions.

Just call them up or email them. They have a warranty on them. Just need proof of purchase.

Hmm I spent an extra 200 on my BDS springs. I will only have to swap them if I want to change my lift height. BDS gives a no questions asked lifetime warranty period. More than rough contry sure So much more expensive I need to justify it no. I have an idea. You find me ten bad comments in the last 6 months about OME and BDS and I will buy you a membership. If you want I can probaly find 10 bad reveiws on RC for everyone you can find on the ones i mentioned. I could probably find 100 on RC for everyone you can find on OME or BDS.

1995 YJ. 2 inch BDS Spring lift. 1 inch shackle lift. 1.25 inch JKS Body Lift 33x12.5x15's. Engo 10,000 pound winch.

That is because they have lots of practice giving out free springs. Do they give you the U bolts to go with the springs, or do you have to buy them?

They sent me the ujoints and a replacement sway bar link.

Good thing these things are easy to install. 45 minutes and I was back on the road.

I got my OME cheaper then the POS RC 'kit' actually as I didnt get the **** you dont need like trac bar relocators etc.... and I didnt need the shocks as I went a different route there as well.... so ya.....

each to their own.... ya get what ya pay for..... as for the warranty, imagine the peed off customers they would have if they didnt replace their saggy POS springs..... they have to...

7 years on my OME thanks 2 SOA

the OME shackles on the other hand... .holy ****. $$$.... but I like them... guess I have to for the price

Started with some rust repairs ended in a SOA...

Most of us have ran the RC junk, thus the change to a quality spring etc.
Yeah, free replacement springs, yipee. Not having to replace them would be better though would it not? My time is worth something though, that may be the difference huh?
And as for "performed flawlessly", have you drove a rig on OME springs? Guessing not, as the difference is extremely noticeable to say the least.
