warranty related question...

Rough Country - Do products purchased through ebay resellers also carry your lifetime (original owner) warranty? Thanks.

Steve

As long as the kit was purchased new and I can find the proof of purchase than yes you will be covered. Who did you buy it from?

I haven't purchased the kit yet, but there are several places selling your kits on ebay. Most appear to have the kits drop shipped directly from RC. Some have pretty good shipping deals.

I did not see a response to my question about the warranty. Peraps you over looked it. When did you start the life time warranty? I purchased directly from you a few years back and was told it is a one year warranty. My second question if I did have a lifetime warranty how would you handle it since you no longer make a 3" spring for the YJ?

Got it thank you for the quick response. It seems that I as a consumer and the company have disagreement on what a lifetime warranty should cover if any item is discontinued.

Due to the many factors in doing a SOA the warranty will not apply if you do that. You can still do the SOA but you will not receive a full replacement if any warranty is needed, but I will work with people if they have any issues.

I can understand that. If you could be sure that everyone would do it properly and carefully, then I assume you would offer a warranty when done SOA. But with how many people do it on the cheap/improperly, I can see your position on that. Still, your offer to work with people on their issues is nice.

Rough Country,

why did you guys dis-continue the 3" kit for the YJ?? I cant see that not being a popular kit for the average off roader/daily driver set up.

just wondering

thanks

Thanks for answering RC about the SOA. Thats what i figured your response would be but never hurts to ask. Any plans in the future to make and SOA spring to compete with RE?

4" springs for a SOA anyway?!?!?!?!?!?! RC mentioned a new 1.5 inch spring kit thats what i was talking about Martin. Your exactly right 4in spring would be CRAZY. lol
