I bought additional 2.5 degree shims from RC since my 2 angles were off a bit much. Now I've got to install them tomorrow.
The leaf pack did have a really big thick 5-6" long wedge on it about 1/2" thick, but I guess I need more.
I'm hoping not be have to buy an SYE kit right now. I want wheels & tires 1st!!

No. Rusty at RC told me I shouldn't need it.

Oh you went 2.5" not 4". Should have looked at your profile. Im shocked your having drive line problems with only a 2.5" lift.

Checked through all the emails did not see one from you. It must have gotten flagged as spam and instant deleted.

Ryan, I'll cal you in a sec but wanted these to be uploaded.

I'm lost on this problem...

I got vibes so I ordered shims from Rusty(?) last week and now on looking at the set up I think shims will make it worse.

The rear is about 5 degrees more than the pinion. I hope the pics help because this is getting me frustrated not knowing what I need to do...

I apologize, I wasn't trying to be an ***. I honestly thought maybe someone was on vacation. I work in an office so I know how it can be when one person leaves, all hell can break loose.
I will give you a call.

Fromt eh looks of it you seem to have enough shimming. The diff and driveshaft are at a near perfect angle. It's the transfer case that either needs to be dropped a bit or a SYE.

Right you are! That's what Ryan said and the tcase drop is on the way. Oh well it'll give me time to rip off my YJ flares and step junk. And since I'm waiting for a few days I might as well change out a u-joints those suckers are as old as I am and can't be helping things under there.

My next hobby is gonna be building a nuclear fission reacter - it should be muuuuch easier than driving/revamping a YJ!!
