The smitty one looks like a good bang for the buck. I just picked up a local brand one (titan 10,000lbs) with greasable snatch block and wireless remote for under $500. Its solid.
Clear out your desk, your fired. lol

Thats not a bad deal at all for that winch. Its on my to do list, and by to do list I mean put on the jeep with in the next 15 years.

hey, I don't work 24/7 for free. I am available Mon-Fri from 930-12 and 1-4 except Fridays are usually early (and some other random days early or later)

I love the winch though, 2 year warranty and great customer service. His office is in his house and the first night I was trying out the winch I had a problem (my fault) called him up at 730pm he answered the phone and helped me get it sorted out.

This cant be right.

I put on my 2.5 in lift about a month ago and something doesnt look right. pretty sure there shouldnt be a gap, seeing that the others dont have it. am i correct on this?
and yes, i know there is a lot of rust. lots of snow and salt in illinois.

I'm sure he will (I hope?), all I really need is the long leaf. Other than that the rest of the spring is in solid condition. Shipping one leaf versus a whole pack is a big difference too.
Although, I guess it is the leaf with the 'eyelet' in it... hmmm

Ryan (or Barrio )

I just got my axle shims & there is a slot on them from the narrow part to the hole. Does that slot go up or down?
Also I'm assuming I add the shims to the bottom of the axle bracket where the smallest leaf wedge is?

Am I correct?

If it aint broke - I didn't work on it yet!
