ron kc daylighters

i just bought 4 daylighters used. they have a little rust on them around where the mounting bolt comes out of the housing. how do i get rid of the rust and keep it from returning.

SOME CHROME polishes out there do a good job of lifting and eliminating rust, a buddy of mine bought some chrome rims, all ugly, and many hours later, they looked brand new, and they lasted about a year, before the rust came back, and that was driving on salted roads in the winter....
