Rollcage swap

I currently have the sports bar in my '89 yj and have purchased a family cage to swap in. My question is..... has anyone cut up the sports bar to use in beefing up the family cage? I realize that it won't be enough to really strengthen family cage but figured it would be a start.

they tend to be worth more intact for those looking to do the opposite of what you did.
