Road riding mainly, trail riding..lift help

Im looking at getting a 3.5-4 in lift and have asked questions on here concerning lifts in the past, I will mainly be riding on the road but will trail ride and once in a great while actually do some off roading...nothing crazy though...suggestions on a lift...is bds still the best way to go? thanks

The general consensus is BDS or Rubicon Express, either is worth the money. Though I have no personal experience, most will tell you to avoid Rough Country like the plague.

that is why BDS comes with there unbeatable no questions asked lifetime warranty on every product they sell. But if you are road cruising and mall crawling, i'd say don't spend the money on something that is mainly built for trails...if you want a really smooth ride for the road, i would suggest Old Man Emu, martin (leftlanetruckin) says his ride is unbelievably smooth and its SOA...and he's old, but don't tell him that jk martin.

i agree w/ martin, BDS or RE.

OME is the smoothest, like mean90 said, but only has like 1.5" and maybe 2.5" lift springs.

really can't beat BDS's warranty!

Well...mean90 isn't martin, but close

OME is supposed to have the best on road quality you can buy. Their price reflects it. They claim only a 2.5" lift, but with the beefier springs according to martin you can attain nearly a 4" lift.

Tuff Country (preparing to be bashed...) has very low spring rates (205) and is supposed to ride pretty smooth. MY Tuff country lift however is sagging enough in the front to the point i needed 1" lift shackles to make it level again. I think my "smoothness" of a ride is hampered by this...

RE, BDS, both good lifts, BDS moreso then RE in my opinion.
