revolver shackles

i was wandering if anyone has any expereince with the revolver shackles i have a 90 model with soa and was wandering if they are worth the money i havent seen any in use and seen very little anywhere on these thanks for any help

I don't see any real need for the revolver shackle unless you want a really good ramp score. But I'm locked front and rear so one tire getting a little air is no biggy. I think that the revolver is going to droop the tire down real far but there won't be enough weight on it to get any real good traction. but if you running open diff's then traction is traction. also the brake lines would probably need to be lengthened again. Also I drive my jeep on the streets as a daily driver so I don't think the shackles would be a good idea. but I'm just rambling my .02 cents

We have one fellow in our group who's had a lot of success with revolvers. But there are those that haven't. I know Jeff McRae can't get his to open up. Also, there's a fellow on the YJ forum on Yahoo that works for a shop and he's working to put together a package deal on revolvers. I think it includes the shocks and towers you'll need to make them work.

I have heard revolvers and shackle reversals dont mix so if you have this setup be careful.
