reviving a '92 renegade, things to check?

hey there, new guy here. this weekend i started a project, bringing a '92 back to life that's been sitting for 5 years or so. i'm new to jeeps, but no stranger to wrenching on vehicles so this looks like it's going to be some fun. the radiator has some corrosion inside, so i've ordered a new one. i'm not sure how much gas is in the tank, but i'm going to siphon out what's in there and get some fresh fuel in the system. is there anything else you guys recommend checking?

oh, i also ran into a problem trying to loosen the tension on the belt. i loosened the two bolts on the back of the ps pump, then the pivot bolt at the top of it on the front. then i loosened the lock bolt underneath on the front and started cranking on the actual tension bolt (that's a pain to get to with the airbox on) and it doesn't seem to be releasing the tension at all. am i missing something?

Welcome to the forum. You will find lots of advice here. Fill out your profile so people know what engine you have. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help you out. I have an 88 with a 4.2 and v belts, other wise I would try to help. All I can say is give it a tune up plus what your doing, and have fun.
