Think I got the problem solved...Knock on wood!!! The rear wiring harness going to the rear taillights and up through the tub. It had a slight wear on a couple of wires(none hot though). At the same spot in the wiring harness there is a wire connector(I'm thinking thats for a hardtop light or wiper). One of those wires on the connector was hot. So when it was all getting wet I thinking that was sending the hot from the connector to the tailights. It rained inside of it a couple days after I fixed it and the lights did not turn on.

Hope thats it bc I have no idea what to do next if it happens again.

Thanks for the help everybody.
