My passenger-side wing window is broken out. I have a replacement window, pulled from another YJ. I understand that the assembly is screwed-on at the top of the window frame, and there is one screw holding the lower frame on, in the face of the door. Those fasteners are now out, but I still can't figure out how to remove the window. Any help is appreciated.
well just to let u no i have no idea what wing windows are the only thing i can think of is those vent windows or hard sliding windows..if ur doing the triangle shaped vent windows they go in very easily i take mine out when i do stupid **** like lock my keys in my car
If you are talking about the little flip out window on a hard door, heres what you do:
1- remove door pannel
2- remove the 4 screws from the window. one on top or door, 3 along edge where the door meets the windshield
3- remove the screw that is about 1.5 feet below the window on the part of the door where the pannel goes. you will see 3 screws basically in a line, you want the middle screw out.
4- with the door glass down (big glass, not little triangle one), wiggle out the triangle window assembly. You will probally have to open up the triangle window.

Your instructions were great! I didn't know about the two screws along the edge, where the door meets the windshield. They were hidden by the rubber gasket.
I was able to remove the old one, and install the new, thanks to you! I really appreciate your help!
