replacing front floor

I bought new key floor pans. They have a lip on the front. How much of the new pan did you use when replacing yours. How do they intersect up front firewall, and toe support?

I used as much of my new pan as possible.

Cut maybe an inch off the top so it butt up to the firewall nice.
