replacing exhaust manifold, need tips

alright so next weekend im finally going to replace my exhuast manifold, i was wondering if anybody as any tips on what tools to have just in case or any rough spots that they ran into that i shouhld be cautious of. thanks alot

I would like to replace mine, but the bolts look so rusted I think I would need to take it to a garage to have it done.

ooops.....didn't see you had a 4cyl until after I posted......I gave you advice on a 4.0

STOLEN!!! 92 YJ 4.0, borla header and exhaust, 30 w/trutrac, 8.8 w/ detroit, 4.88's, 35" xterrains on beadlocks, custom rear bumper/tire carrier, and all the other basic jeep mods

05 unlimited rubicon: stock, but not for long!

I have to replace mine too on my 4.2L.
I'm hoping to find a header, though...

Sounds wierd, but PB Blaster while it sits is good.
Also, if you get some good gloves...it will come apart easier while it's hot.
You don't have to do it all. Just break the bolts loose while the engine/manifold is still hot.
