I saved the time and hassle of used seats and went with hunsaker seats from ORW. I got a great deal and decided to get rid of the terrible looking stock seats!!!![/IMG]

Yes, read thru the seat swap writeup in the FAQ, one of the members that posted in there did heated seats.

I kinda like the 60/40 setup
Anyone have feed back on how good they worked.
There are some 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner ? seats local on Craigslist for $100 here the pics http://gallery.mac.com/mikemonce#100...&bgcolor=black

I really need to replace my Drivers seat bad. The PO put some GMC Jimmy Seats (which dont fit) held in place w/ 1 nut and 3 bundge chords.

How are your fab skills??? Those seats are gonna require some significant fabing. They look awesome though.

If you do get them, please, feel free to do a detailed/picture writeup of how they went in.

Thanx

i just bought some 96 grand am 2 door seats and they are NOT a direct bolt in to my 90 YJ 5 spd (havent tested on the automatic yet)

my plan is to just make an adaptor out of some flat steel and drill some holes to make them fit
pics will be posted

Good god this is pissing me off. The info in the writeup is first hand knowledge so I am not shure what the deal is. If you can, please let me know the dimentions of your year seat braket and the seats themselves.

I am working on a theory that there are two different YJ risers out there.

this is strange. are the seats any different than the 98 grand am seats?
I just put seats from a 98 2door grand am into my 93 YJ, and they bolted right in.
I just pulled the stock seats, moved the jeep sliders to the grand am seats, and bolted them back into the jeep.
I don't remember the bolt measurements at the moment, but I can check tonight.
here are some pics,

Rusty I think you are on to something. My risers do not look like some that I have seen in the YJ's. I also noticed in a 4 wheel drive hardware catalog the other day that they were selling risers like mine marketed as cj and yj up to 1990, they were Bestop brand. The Jc Whitney catalog markets something like them as a CJ and YJ replacement up to '95. I think they may have changed them between '90 and '91. Here is a picture of my seat riser. The deminsions are length from front to back is 12.5" width is 14" the measurements are center to center on the mounting holes. Hope this helps. Here is my cavi seat write up. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f12/my-2005-cavi-seat-install-90yj-541898/
