Cavalier seats

I can't remember what year, probably 1998 or 1999. I had to use quite a few washers in the back to lift the rear of the seat. Without them it was kind of like sitting in a rocket waiting to blast off. They did, however, bolt right in without any modifications to the rails.

here are my seats..... they came out of a (can't remember exactly) 2000-2003-4 dodge neon, not direct bolt in, but still worth the effort.

What are the big differences?? Did you simply have to relocate the bolt holes??? How much space is between the stearing wheel and the seat?

Will 1" square tubing work just as well to relocate the holes like the post above yours????

Thanx

-Rusty

only differences were the mounting bolt holes were in a different spot..... also, i had to cut my yj's seat mounting brackets down for them to fit, the front of the new seats are much thicker than the stock YJ seats.

i can still fold the front passenger seat forward too.

the top of the seat (where your rump goes) is about an inch higher than the stock seats. which to me is a little more comfortable when working the pedals and what-not.

I guess I'm weird but I like my YJ seats I just need to recover them because they have rips and a burn spot.

These are AXE-2 brand seats. I had to drill two holes in my seat brackets. Easy install. They're a pain to get into because of the high sides, but they do a good job of keeping you in the seat on rough trails. I bought them on eBay a few years ago.

Quoted this way so the pics are all in the same post for a link.
