thanks for pointing this out, I will look into it. I have the list saved somewhere. Looks like the jeepwiki page no longer exists.

I went with seats from a '03 Cavalier 2-door, and they worked perfectly. The Jeep is a '94, and all you need to do is unbolt the Cavalier seats from the factory sliders, and they bolt directly to the Jeep brackets (no need for drilling).

Jason, the Cavi seats I picked up were he same year as to seats you picked up. The driver's seat, fixed bracket, bolted up no problem, the passenger side , tilting bracket, is waaaaaay off. I can get 1 bolt in, I'm going to need to drill a second in the front, and fab a piece of metal for the rear. I don't get it........ Same seats, 1990 YJ, and they don't go in the same.......

I believe the issue is that the older (pre-'93 I think) factory Jeep seat brackets are a little different than the newer models.

Just to confirm, you did take the seats completely off the Cavalier sliders/seat brackets and bolted them to the factory Jeep sliders?

Yes, the Cavi seat for the passenger side tip up was #1 too long for the Jeep sliders and #2 too wide in the front and too narrow in the rear. Was't anything that a piece of sheet metal and a drill press couldn't handle though. I'll post a pic of the finished product with the measurements in the morning.

Sorry, Cavi mounts too narrow front and rear. the Cavi measure side to side 13 5/16" the sliders are 14" and were too short by about an inch and a half. And yes, 2 door. cramped as hell in the back of that thing too. I took the back seat upholstery too and have a guy recovering the back seat of my YJ with it for $50.

I need itty bitty fingers.......... not fun with the sausage mitts I have!!!!

I've got mid to late 90's Dodge Dakota leather seats. I got them with the jeep I talked to the guy that sold it to me, and he said all he had to do was enlarge the bolt holes. The seats are comfortable, but could use more lumbar support. When I get a chance I will upload pics.
