Replaced stereo and that annoying ignition buzzer isnt working?

I replace my stock 1990's tape deck with a JVC CD player (no new speakers or anything else) and now that irritating buzzer doesnt work when i turn the key, not that i want it to, just looking for an explaination.

You sure it's not just unhooked from the switch at the door, I purposely had mine unhooked, with just the wire hooked up for the dome light (hardtop). That was until i broke the switch with my foot getting out the other night. Now I got no light inside.

The ignition buzzer is controlled by the door button?

I have no button on the drivers side to worry about breaking :x but i also have no light unless i open the passenger door or turn it on manually, and there's no sign of the buttons existance anywhere...

You probably just knocked the connection loose from the buzzer itself while you were working under the dash. I "accidently" left out the spring contact in the steering column when I was replacing my wiper controls. I figured with a softop, I was not going to lock my keys in the Jeep anyway!
