Replace stock spring plate with u-bolt skid?
Hey all, i searched but didn't find this answer. I just got some warrior u-bolt skids with shock mounts (broke my rear shock mounts
) and i am wondering if these totally replace my spring plates? or do i just bolt the skids over the plates? Thanks,-Ian ![]()

It should replace your old plates. Is there any reason to think not? I don't have a pic of the warrior right here in front of me, but I've never seen a U-skid that did'nt work any other way... unless I'm missing something here. Got a pic?

hmm idk WoRM. i put it over my old spring plate. the skid seemed to be contoured to accept the spring plate so i went with it. It also made so the skid plate hung down just a little bit more, and completely covered my u-bolts so i didn't have to cut em off. i don't think it's dangerous to run like this so i'll leave it for now. if i notice it shifting or something i'll take out my old spring plate from in between. -ian
