Removing Bearing Retainer

Im in the middle of the slave cylinder swap on my ax5 and I cant figure out how to remove the bearing old bearing retainer. Is there a pry point or something that I am missing? Ive tried tapping it and trying to get a screw driver in there but the thing is on there tight. From what I can tell the only thing holding it on is the RTV between it and the case. Any thoughts?

When I took it off the old trans it popped right off. I pulled the bolts and grabbed the snout with my hand.

The bearing retainer Im trying to get off is for an internal slave so there is no snout...or anything else to grab on to for that matter. Ive tried vice grips in a bolt hole, but the metal is so soft it just messes it up.

I would gently work a sharp wood chisel in there.
