I am reinstalling my external slave cylinder. It no longer has the plastic straps that hold it closed like you have when you buy a new one.

I have noticed that I need to use the bolts to get the slave fully seated against the bell housing. I assume that is because I am compressing the slave cylinder?

Cool. I was concerned with proper spacing between the pressure plate and throw out bearing.
