I know there are 2 in the tach and 2 in the speedometer, but I don't know about the cluster. I would think 1 takes care of 2 gauges though.
I just had to replace the bulbs in my tach and speedo today actually. Just about went beserker on my speedo trying to get it out far enough to change the bulbs. I actually had to open the hood and pull up a bit on the speedo cable and stuff it thru the firewall some more to get the back of the speedo housing visible.
...hope I didn't/ won't wreck anything. I know it works up to about 10mph so far but that's it, because as soon as I was testing to make sure the speedo went up to at least 50, my brake line popped coming out of the parking garage!

I just did the LED's the other day in blue, the pics don't do them justice though as it's hard to take in complete darkness. Also, I havent put my front dash covers back on them yet but you get the idea. Mine took 8 bulbs, 2 for tach, 2 for speedo, 3 for center guages (2 for the guages themselves and one for the 4WD light), and one for the heater/vent controls. I went with these bulbs http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...FWLED-xHP5.htm

One bulb lights two of the center guages, so only a total of 2 there, then there is one for the 4WD light. There is also only one in the heater/vent. I went with the 360's for everything.

BTW, my dimmer still works. Not sure if all the color LED's allow it but Blue does..

That looks wicked!! I'm definitely going this route on my build. Those are all the factory gauges? Speedo looks aftermarket.
