Ok, so everything I can find out there tells me how to buy the adapters for the rear upper shock mounts. I want to replace the factory onesthat are completely rusted out. Can anyone tell me where I can get replacements? Anyone have pics of them doing this?

Fun stuff, huh? I had an upper mount break last week. I've been bounce around ever since trying to find a fix. I did find this and am going to look into it more today.
Teraflex 001234800 - TeraFlex Revolver Rear Shock Bar for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ - Quadratec
This says it only requires the lower mount to install. I am going to call them today. I need shocks something awful too.

My mounts weren't completely dead, but I bought the MORE extensions and welded them to the frame. I had to grind on them some, but it seems to work well.

By the instructions it looks like that bar attaches to your original upper shock mount.
That I know of the only thing you can do is grind the old off and weld on a new one.
Maybe you could use something like this?

not complaining or anything but....monkeyhouse,this isnt a replacement its an alteration....iowajeepers, this fix assumes that the rear mounts are already existing, which they aren't....Tsejeepers, these are for the front. I'm looking for the parts that I can cut off the old ones and weld on the new ones.

When I stretched the rear I made my own upper shock mounts.
I know those that I have listed are for the front. I do not know why they would not work on the rear though.

Let me know what you find, because mine is sitting in the garage awaiting repair. I've been looking around for someone to fabricate or purchase a replacement I the cut the remaining fixture off last weekend with a Sawzall and Multi-Master. Wasn't too difficult.

Ok, So, lower mounts came from Iron Rock Off Road, upper mounts came from quadratec. They are actually the front upper mounts for the 76-81, however with a little grinding to adjust for the frame rails they work great. For the Track bar we used a 3 inch box tube steel and cut the one side off so it could fit down over the axle, then we welded two vertical pieces of 1/4 inch steel and drilled through it to mount the track bar to. Works great, added 4 new shocks and a floor pan to the driver's side. Less breezy in the Jeep and more comfortable.yakak, I'm tring to figure out how to get pictures on here, but if you want to me to email you pics, I will.

Just getting a red x.
Host it on Photoshop then post the URL. If you do not have enough posts for the pictures one of us will post it for you.
