Rear tire wobble??

I was driving down the highway the other day and got stuck in traffic. I was creeping and looked back and glanced at my rear tire on the driver's side. It was wobbling. I knew that I have taken it offroad but not too extreme. My Jeep is stock (hopefully getting a lift and tires this summer once I convince my wife). I have not done much to it and have only 125,000 on it. I called Jeep and they said I need a new axle sleeve and axle bearing. I thought it would only need a wheel bearing. I lifted it up once I got home and could barely get a wobble when I pushed in on the top of the tire. Does anyone know what is going on? I first thought the wheel was bent but now I found a wobble, I aint sure. Any suggestions?

Start with the cheapest solution and work your way up. What Jeep people did you call? Do you know anyone in a Jeep club? Start with them.

No I havent tried them yet. Not sure really where the local one is but I called the Parts departments for Jeep. And by the way, its only one tire wobble. Its not both tires wobbling so I thought it would only be one wheel bearing but thanks for the help guys

Try swapping another wheel you know isn't wobbling on that side and see if it wobbles. If so then you have an axle issue. Possibly bent axle shaft flange?

I have a jeep...and it is modified...I win.
