Rear port on Valve cover

The port (right angle piece) coming off the rear of the intake manifold of my 4.0 is all clogged up. looking to replace it and the hard line running from the valve cover to the intake manifold i'm sure is clogged too. Where can i get the angled piece off the valve cover? And does the line to the manifold HAVE to be a hard line? Can it be vacuum hose?

Thats the piece for front of valve cover. The one on the rear has a small vacuum passage, very small.

I think he wants the little hard plastic line that goes fron the elbow to the manifold.

Then I would start with the dealer if it not cleanable or if you can't come up with a work around.

is there any reason why a soft rubber vacuum line wouldn't work in place of the hard line?

Follow 4.7stroker's instructions for the elbow fitting. As far as the vacuum line, I got mine from advanced autoparts yesterday (also got a breather hose from there). Here's the pic (sry I don't know how it came out upside down)

The soft tube would be fine just as long as the I.D. is the same and it is routed so that it avoids excessive heat from the exhaust manifold.

Why not simply clean the fitting and tube?
