rear hardtop defroster

i have a 91 saraha with fatctory switches and lines for a hard top. i put the hard top on and i can get the wiper blade to work but i have no idea how to turn on the rear defroster or how to see if it even works. any ideas?

another thing is the hose that is in the hard top for the wiper fluid is broken, the hose is still there but i can hook them up to the jeep hose. any ideas for that to please?
