Ok, So i was working on my damned engine today... went for a test drive, Turning left at low speed, sometimes it would make a loud thud. At first I thought the wheel was loose, Checked that, all was well. Got underneath, Looked at everything, all is tight, nothing appears to have been hitting anywhere. checked U-joints. they were all good. Has anyone experienced this? any suggestions?
I usually fear the worst... because its usually the worst. I looked earlier at the exhaust and shackles and U-bolts and shock mounts... everything appeared tight, couldnt rattle anything when banging on it. What might i look for in the diff? what in there could cause that kind of pop?
I had that same problem but the exhaust was loose. Tightened it up and the sound went away. hope you find the problem.
