Rear Brake Line Extension Question

I put on my brake line extension kit to accmodate my new EMUs and have a quesiton about the rear one.

The original one was more form fitting to the axle and thicker by 1/8" or more. I'm not so concerned over the form fitting but the thickness of the block. The axle 'breather' is quite long and now extends father into the axle housing. Is this a problem??

Thanks!

Has anyone changed the rear flexible brake line? I don't want to damage the axle...
