Shocks won't change your lift.

...and 5000s are a really stiff shock. You may find that your Jeep rides rougher.

I am looking to get a soft shock. What is a good soft shock for primarily road usage?

black diamonds are soft and spongy, just on the verge of being too soft.

What about DT3000, Skyjacker, or OME shocks for softer rides???

I just put a set of Rancho RSX shocks on my YJ. They improved the ride a lot. If you want soft spungy shocks the 14 year old shocks that came off of my YJ would do the trick!

I love my superlift shocks. Much improved over the stock shocks.
