Radiator giving up

My original 94 YJ radiator is giving up. I am looking for a new one and was wondering what you think I should go with.

I have Air Conditioning so I know that I need a good Radiator to keep her cool in the Florida tropical heat.

The Radiator Barn

Go for an all metal one.

Thank you Zues,

Does anyone know what a all metal radiator is? Not that I think there is a plastic radiator available, but what makes it better?

Also any other sugestions about who to go to for a new radiator?

Radiators are all about getting the heat away by acting as a huge heatsink. Metal does the best job on that, not silly plastic.

I agree!
Look no further than The Radiator Barn for a great radiator at a reasonable price IMHO. I have had to buy several radiators for various Jeeps over the years.

FWIW the factory ones had plasttic tanks.

No Kidding? The bottom of my radiator is plastic? Or what part other than the drain plug?

I had the same problem with my radiator with it leaking around the plastic tanks.

I went down to the local auto parts store and ordered one. When it showed up, it looked exactly like the one it was replacing except it was all metal.
That was ten years ago and it is still working well.
Go for all metal and stay away from the plastic. Plastic just won't last.

I just called Advanced auto. They want $180.00 for a one row radiator. The Radiator barn want that for a two row and another twenty for a three row all metal. So far radiator barn has it.

I have AC so I am guessing that a three row is the only way to go.

I ordered a radiator several years ago from radiator barn and it was a very good deal.
Fast shipping and good quality. I had the same problem on my old nissan xterra the top plastic cap came apart I replaced it with a all metal 2 row.

I cant offer recommendations on a jeep 2 row vs 3 row but I imagine you would be more than fine with the 2 row all metal replacement.
