Quick rim fitment question, rotor issue.

Hey guys I just bought some D window cragers for the jeep. They fit fine regarding backspacing and diameter, however the center hole of the rim has approximately 1/4 inch between it and the center of the hub. It is sitting flush against the rotor. I assume this "lip" on the hub usually fits snug into the stock rim where the center cap is. Is this ok or is it going to be an issue? The shop that usually does my mounting and balancing said they won't do the work due to it being an issue. Also, what are you guys doing about center caps with this set up?
Thanks guys.

The lugs and lug nuts support the weight of the vehicle, not the center hub. Almost no wheels fit tight around the hub because if they did, where would the center caps go? They have to go in there somewhere too! You need to find a new shop because those guys are not exactly brilliant. Take them somehwere else and have them mounted and balanced and everything you need done. You can get center caps for them from most tire shops as well. Usually the simple chrome jobbers is what most people run however the shop can measure the center hole of the wheel and tell you what they can get to fit it and let you decide what you want to run.

I didn't think it was an issue either. I've always been more into the drag racing world then the off-roading world, and this honestly is my first time dealing with such big rim/tire set ups. Figured maybe the shop was on to something that I had missed in the past.
