Quick question - need answer FAST!

Hi,

I'm about to go pick up a friend of mine and I just finished installing my carburater, but my stock air cleaner won't work with it without some mods.

Will it be really bad to drive around with no air cleaner for a little while (half hour)?

Thanks!

DO NOT go without an air cleaner. Sure, it may be OK but you never know what you could suck in.

Never tired it, but I'm really pretty darn sure that if you stretch 2 or 4 pairs of ladies stockings over some part of the intake, the filtering will be sufficient for a while. If anything gets in, it will prob. be too small to hurt anything...
