Question for those that have the driver's side lean.

It looks like a lot of people, me included, have a lifted Jeep that is leaning/lower on the driver's side. I have the RC 4" lift. I noticed the lean about a week after installing it. I rotated the springs from left to right when I swapped my 3.07 axles for 4.10's and the lean came back just as quickly. So, in my mind, that rules out the possibility of it being a bad spring.

I'm wondering if it's because of my set up. Rear trackbar is removed, swaybar is disconnected totally (never was able to get the links off) and the front trackbar is still in place. I wonder what would happen if I removed the front trackbar? Has anyone tried this? It makes sense to me since the trackbar is connected to the frame/body on the driver's side and it may be the limiting factor that is keeping the driver's side slightly lower than the rest of the jeep. The rear trackbar connects to the frame/body on the passenger side and I think it would tend to balance things out if it were connected.

Any thought? Am I missing something?

I had the exact same problem as you described above. I tried switching springs, too. No help. I also had just my rear tracbar off. When I took the front off, it wasn't immediate but since putting a few miles and some flexing it has since leveled out. It was almost an inch off IIRC now its almost dead on.
Based on my experience I think your thoughts are right.

If that doesn't do it, I would look over your body mounts.

I have no track bars front or rear. Sway bar is still connected. Mine is a full inch lower on the driver's side. Same lift 4" RC. It looks a lil weird especially from behind. But I dont have any extra cash for new springs right now.

I guess I should have added that option. I don't think I can edit the poll questions, but if you have no trackbars, please state that in a reply.

Or maybe your body size! Might be leaning because there's a fat driver!

My jeep used to lean on the pass. side but it never really bothered me. At least not after I bent the front spring and got a new one. Oh, I haven't run sway bars or trac bars in years and I have 3.5" Black Diamond Springs.

I've had the lean through two different lifts, the first was a pro comp 2.5" and now a 4.5" RE extreme lift. I don't like how the Jeep handles without the tra bar but I may get an adjustable/telescoping one and see if the lean goes away.

No trackbars. No lean RC 4" w/ 1" shackles. When I got it though it was all stock and leaned about 1" lower on the drivers front.

Thanks for the feedback...keep it coming. I'll try remove the front trackbar as soon as I get the swaybar end links swapped out and report back.
